When the darkness takes my breath away
And I hope that I will see the light of day
When these walls swallow my prayers
And the people beyond don’t seem to care
Even though no sun shines in here
And I am haunted by nights full of fear
My soul still longs for freedom and grace
I know that I will come home someday:
